Precision Agriculture as Input for the Rice Grain (Oryza sativa L.) Biofortification with Selenium

Using two rice genotypes as a test system (OP1505 and OP1509), the aim of this study was to develop an agronomic workflow for Se biofortification through foliar fertilization (with sodium selenate selenite). During process, state culture (slope, surface drainage, water lines normalized differences vegetation index—NDVI), using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles synchronized by global positioning (GPS) further assessed. It found that after sowing, water-drainage pattern became profoundly altered, following artificial pattern, created grooves between plots. NDVI values, compared control, did not show significant differences. These data were correlated with physiological monitoring during biofortification. Furthermore, it eco-physiological obtained leaf gas exchanges, application 300 g ha?1 any toxicity effects in biofortified plants. In context innovation, concluded precision agriculture techniques conjunction leaf-gas exchange measurements allow efficient experimental field conditions development cycle implementation workflow.
